How to Fix a Golf Slice: Tip 1
Improper set up is one of the most common causes of slicing the ball. You must properly align your body to your target at address. Make sure your shoulders are square, with your left shoulder aligned with the target.You will end up slicing the ball hard if your left shoulder is slightly off line.
How to Fix a Golf Slice: Tip 2
You must check your grip before you swing your club. You must be able to see two or three knuckles on your left hand. If you cannot or do not see any knuckles, then you need to readjust your hands on the grip until you get them properly aligned, this should help your problem.
You may also want to check and make sure you are not holding the club to tightly, this will affect your release when contact is made with the ball. On the other hand, if you hold the club to loosely will cause the club head to twist at impact, making the ball fly way off course.

To prevent hitting the ball way right, you must get a full hip turn when returning the club through the impact zone. The ball must hit the club face squarely, if you want the ball to fly straight. This will probably not happen if you are not turning your hips properly through impact. To alleviate this problem, you must practice finishing high, which causes the hips to turn fully.

Slowing down your tempo is another key area to concentrate on. Many golfers will try and speed up their swing, hoping to gain more distance. This will make your hands lead the rest of your body, opening the club face at impact. When the club face is open the ball will fly right. (for right hand golfers).

Another great tip that you have heard since you started golfing, is to keep your head down through impact. If you have the habit of lifting your head at impact, this will cause very poor shot quality.
Many golfers will lift there head to soon, just to see their ball. They may not even know they are doing it. If you are unsure that you do this, but hit many shots to the right, have a playing partner watch your head as you hit a few shots.
If your right shoulder comes through at impact, hitting your chin, this too can cause you to lift your head up. If you want to stop this make sure your right shoulder stays where it belongs during your swing.
